    Dwarf Caiman Terrarium (Paludarium)

Decided to build a paludarium for my dwarf caiman, so I could see her better and more naturally. I'll probably let this tank cycle for a month or two to give the water plants a chance, but I know she's going to rip them up in about 7 seconds.

Got the metal shelf from petco and it has an open bottom that makes it unusable, so I built a little shelf to go underneath. And so serendipitously, it fits (3) 10 gallons perfectly! UG is selling cbb common snappers for $10 each. May get two and reserve the third for another alligator snapper. Mine is doing so well and I've learned a lot. Would love to get another snapper species.

The Paludarium looks great! She's going to love it. I would have to agree that the water plants are going to be engaged in an interesting battle.

It looks great, super naturalistic especially with that lighting! I've heard very mixed reviews about UG, have you ordered from them in the past?

I've heard mixed things about them. Maybe I wouldn't buy snakes from them, but I'd give them a shot with a turtle.
