    Herpstat Questions

Hey all. I'm a little overwhelmed by all the herpstat options. I have one single ball python. He will be housed in a T-10 enclosure from Animal Plastics. I have the RHP installed. I do have the under belly heat option but have not added it to the enclosure yet as I've been told that with the RHP I will not need both. (Does anyone know if that is accurate?)

I want the most cost effective option, but also happy to pay a little extra if something is worth the money. Which herpstat do y'all recommend for this enclosure? Given the costs, I want to ensure I make the right decision for my snake & his home, and there are a LOT of options! Thank you in advance!!

    Re: Herpstat Questions

I have a pair of the Herpstat 2 Redlines

    https://www.spyderrobotics.com/index...54qgoah1p1g7g7

Those are capable of running your UTH and RHP at the same time, at different temperatures and will do a night drop in temperature if you want it to

They go on sale every now and then for $185.00, that's when I bought them

Mine work well and have had no issues yet, one has been in use for almost a year, the other a few months less.

Honestly, any of the Herpstat models will be great for you, even the EZ1. I've found the setup videos from Herpstat are better than reading the manual for some folks, and can help reduce some of the understandable overwhelm the first time you get one set up: https://www.spyderrobotics.com/index...d=27&chapter=1
