    So Predictable. Or Is It?

This was a really nice handling session.
I could not be happier with this, Nick Mutton produced Morelia Bredli holdback.

Kevin made his deck rail debut after eliminating 2 meals and settling in.

I know I'm the proud owner but I have to say even in a dark phase, he's beautiful!

What an animal! You may have heard about the older Bredli pythons being mellow and easy to handle, and that is holding true here.

Kevin was very hissy coming out of his cage, but never tried to bite. Once he was out, he kept moving back toward me.

Other than my Gus Rentfro produced, Barranquilla, Colombian boa, this is the only other snake that comes from a breeder with superior knowledge about the animals they produce.

It is a reality that Centralian Pythons change colors. He was very dark in his cage and semi dark outside, but after about 20 minutes in natural sunlight, he started to lighten up.

He is the perfect replacement for the retic I had to place.
Kevin is going to be 3 years old in September.

    He's established and fairly confident.

I'm looking forward to the next carpet python publication from Nick and Justin.

Aussie pythons are different and IMO special. If you are on the fence, jump it and come to the Carpet side!

Beautiful Bredli brother! Those colors really pop in that sunlight! And to think he's only going to get better!

Such a handsome boy! Glad to hear that he's settling in well. I really like that first picture -- the contrast between the blue tongue, red head, and golden eyes is quite something!

I may just have to join team Morelia yet.

Yeah, he's gorgeous! I really like his "dark" colors.

One thing I'm happy about is this guy still has retained some of the "classic" black pigmentation on the tail. The hypo part of the genetic package wasn't what got me interested. I was looking for a slightly more established animal and he just happened to be a 2017 holdback that Nick was ready to part with.

I'll be curious to see where his coloring goes in the next couple of years.

Duuuuuuuude!!!!!! Those pics are straight rockstar right there!!!!! Holy cow he's outstanding!!!

It's funny you mentioned that once out he kept coming back towards you. Fernie does the same. I've kinda "experimented" by setting her in different spots, and she almost always comes back in my direction within a few seconds. I've never noticed that in any of my other snakes.

Do it!!!!! You won't be disappointed.

And I can't possibly say enough about how much I'm loving my Bredli. She's such an easy snake. Curious, but calm. Not head shy in the slightest.
So far their reputation holds true with my girl as well.
