    Lizard Identification

My friend found a lizard on a hike today, can anyone help identify it?

It's some sort of spiny lizard. Where did your friend see it? A location would help narrow the possiblities.

I'm not sure exactly, but it was in Idaho.

If you look online for Idaho's reptiles, you should be able to pick it out of a "line-up". There are similar-looking lizards all over the U.S. & you need the location to really
pin it down. I'm not at all familiar with Idaho's wildlife...also, that photo is pretty far away for details.

In that case I am guessing that it is a common sage brush lizard. I am no expert though so I could be wrong.

Yup, looks a lot like a sagebrush lizard. Thanks for the help!
