    BP burrowing??

I wasn't sure where to put this but I've noticed my BP has started to burrow? As I'm typing this he's hidden under his substrate a bit, and I did some research on mites and stuff but he hasn't soaked in his bowl at all and some signs of mites he never does/has. I just cleaned his tank last night and I haven't noticed anything on him at all or in the tank. He's been eating well and I don't notice anything on my hands after handling him. Am I worrying about nothing??? I think I'm just overthinking but... I'm not sure.

Is he burrowing under the substrate where the heat mat is located? He might just be trying to get warm.

I'd double check temps just to be sure. Make sure it's not too hot for him, it could turn out to be nothing. Maybe he thinks he's a sand boa!

I wouldn't be worried about it, but I would want to double-check his temps and make sure the cool side is cool enough. I'd also check humidity - sometimes burrowing is a response to low humidity. Or maybe he just enjoys burrowing...

    ^^^^

Also keep an eye if he does it again. If you notice he’s also pacing around the edge of the enclosure it could be a sign of stress.
