Some General Advice
So I am currently getting my tank and stuff together for a new(first ever) BP. I have the tank, some bedding, back up heating pad and thermostat regulator, hygrometer-thermostats, food supplier etc. But now with COVID, everywhere that I had planned to look to buy a BP has been shut down. So this leaves me wondering on what your thoughts are on buying online. Did anyone do that? Does anyone have recommendations on places or online breeders to look at? Also Fedex isn't insuring live animals at the moment, how concerned should that make me if I cave and order online?
What are some not so obvious things I should consider getting beforehand?
Thanks!

No problem. Just keep in mind DOAs are very rare and always trust your gut. If something seems off, don't take the risk.

When you say the places you plan to look have been shut down, are you talking about some type of retailer or private breeder? Most pet shops I am aware of (not my choice to buy from most of them) are considered essential and are still open. I assume most private breeders would work out some way to get a snake to you and be within social distancing guide lines.
It also would be a good idea to post some pictures on here of your sett up, specifics on your temps, etc. It is a good idea, if you haven't done so already to get everything up and running as if the snake was in there to see how the temps and humidity hold. There are a lot of people on here who could help you make sure you have the right set up, the correct size hides, etc.
