    Coconut fiber

Hey all! I'm new to the forum and to owning a ball python. I did a ton of reading on setting up my snakes tank. I was using aspen bedding but I was struggling with humidity but I also don't think my tank was set up right. I switched to coconut fiber after he was wheezing one day. Now he's yawning alot and has the coconut fiber caked to the front of his nose from tunneling. Is that okay for him? Tips on bedding for him?

I use Pro-coco religiously and I will never switch. I have heard nothing but issues with fiber being stuck in their mouth, nose everything. I have also seen it stain lighter colored morphs. If it were me I would throw it out and go to a product like Pro-coco or repti-chip. I have heard that coco-blox from freedom breeder is now selling smaller blocks for people with smaller collections or just one animal. Might look into that. A block would be a big waste for you with only one animal.
