    Over/under feeding?

I bought my bp Diablo in November 2019. I forgot to ask his hatch date, and didnt weigh him for a while after I got him. I would guess he was a little under 100g. He started on small mice and then once they were too small and I was doubling up, he ate rat pups. Since I ordered 50 rat pups from rodentpro, he has been eating 2 every 7 days or so for the last few weeks.
I fed him on Thursday, and I noticed last night he was wandering around his tank a lot. He was still out this morning when I woke up, which is not at all normal for him. He usually eats and spends the next 4 days or so in his heated hide until he starts getting hungry again, and then he will come out for a little while at night. He weighed 300 grams at the end of February. Ill weigh him later, but I would guess hes closer to 400.
I checked his temps and humidity, and its normal. 78-80 ambient, 86-88 hot spot, 60% humidity. He shed a couple weeks ago.

Full disclosure- he is a garbage disposal. He would probably eat every 2 days if I let him. He has never skipped a meal with me and all his sheds have been perfect, so I think my husbandry is okay.

Could he be hungry already? Could it be something else?

He might still be hungry but snakes can remain in "food mode" for a day after eating. They are opportunistic and they know that where they found one feeder there may be more.

He should be ok on two rat pups a week for a while.
