Shed and had her last meal of the year the other day. Still nearly impossible to photograph. She’s pretty so she gets a pass

2018 0.1 Brisbane Coastal Carpet Progression
This girl has been perching much more regularly in the late nights and very early mornings once her ambient temps have dipped into the mid 70s or so. She’s usually very shy and stays in a hide 80% of the time or more.
Surely has something to do with not having eaten in a month, but also coincides with cooler night temps in the room as we’re in the second week of temperature drops for winter cycling.

Took her first meal of the year on the first and has already passed it. She’s still very shy and secretive but calm and inquisitive when out. As per usual, head out of focus because she doesn’t sit still at all. Also weighed in at 234grams and probably ~3.5’ give or take. Probably bump her up to weaned rats very soon.

Looking good.
The coloring is really nice. I'd like to see her in person as I'll bet she's even more spectacular up close in the flesh.

Always welcome, just let me know when you want to come over! The beer will be cold, the grill will be hot, and the critters will be plentiful. Pictures definitely don’t do her justice. The snake gods did a damn fine job when they made this girl.

We were just in Tampa over Christmas. I did think of you as we headed south of the border.
I can certainly see making my way south again and stopping by sometime. In 13 months I'll have ample time on my hands!
Your collection is a hot commodity and I'd love to see it in person.

I sent that last picture to Nick Mutton and he said that she looks great, but to watch out because her growth rate is going to explode soon. Said once they're about this size and move on to small rats that they put on size and mass at a rapid pace. Excited to see it happen.

That's going to be fun. I had a real late spurt with the coastal mix here but Nick probably knows his stock well.
The Bredli is getting heavy,,, like boa heavy which is crazy for a carpet.
I'm keeping watch on all of your stuff. Exciting times.
