    Best Lights?

I plan on putting live plants in a bioactive vivarium in the future for whatever my first snake will be. Anyone have lighting suggestions? Should I use a full spectrum light, led lights or will indirect window lighting be sufficient? Specific products are appreciated.

Excuse me if I posted this in the wrong section.

Lighting requirements will be dependent upon what sort of plants/reptiles you are going to put in your bio-active vivarium. Requirements for a Day Gecko/Crotons is different than a Garter Snake/Pothos.

What did you have in mind?

I know I´m going to get a python. So tropical plants that hold up well in heat and higher humidity like pothos, autumn ferns, arrow head vines, pteris ferns, maybe some moss, earth star plants, etc.

Do these look any good? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MV2GF84..._t1_B07H2YG7KQ

I might get those since they are dimmable and have a timer.

Those appear to be fixtures using the same bulbs I use, so it really depend on the esthetic you are trying to accomplish.

I use this as far as fixture https://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Natur...-garden&sr=8-4 which has two sockets that can be used independently (2 switches), so you can use one for a heat bulb in the event you need additional heat in the winter for example.

Looks like this with my cages (granted those are gecko cages the principal is the same)

Those look really cool! I just found that the ones you showed were out of stock. I just want to have some light to provide for my plants.
