My new ball has a few mites near the eyes and under the chin.

Ive only had him for 2 weeks. Has been eating great and deficated as well. I noticed the mites today, immediately put him in a warm soap bath and then on paper towel. Disinfected and cleaned everything in and near the tub. I've researched all the possible treatments ( nix, reptile spray, PAM, frontline, etc).

My question is, will the mites eventually come out from near the eyes with treatments? Can any of these treatments be lightly sprayed or applied on the head? I just got him and he's still head shy soo I wanna remedy this with as little stress to him as possible. The mites near the eyes are really concerning to me and a vet appointment might not be an option in these current times. Any advice or recommendations would be great.

I would not apply any harsh chemicals on/near the eyes.

Females have to leave the host snake to lay eggs so spraying the paper you use as substrate targets them as well as the nymphs when they hatch.
