Thank you, Hila!!! He's still got some coloring up to do too. I'll be excited to see how bright he gets. If he ends up like his Momma he's gonna be a stud for sure.

I got a few more handling sessions in the past few days and Cornell is already showing signs of developing trust and mellowing out. He's MUCH more relaxed while handling and not spooked by every move. Still a little flighty at first, but only for a minute or so. No strikes at all.

Thanks man!! I actually want to get a decent camera at some point. Cell shots are ok, but I want to step up my game a bit.
I love getting them outdoors, so more pics to come with the warm weather

Cornell is looking wonderful! I love seeing him in the sunlight. I know he's a little bit spicy right now, but it sounds like your patience and gentle handling are already showing good results.

    Cornell's brother Ziggy says hello!

    Hi Ziggy!!!! What up bro???

Thanks! He's settling in nicely. He seems to be more comfortable each time I get him out. I honestly couldn't be much happier.

Sorry I had missed this thread. Cornell looks great Craig! Seems like you are having a fun time with him. Congrats!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
    Mack The Knife, 2013
    Lizzy, 2010
    Etta, 2013
    1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons

    Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017

Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

    Thanks bud!!

Dude, he's awesome!! I am so smitten with him and Fernie. At this point I'm already thinking the few spaces I have left are going to be filled with another Bredli and/or another couple carpets. But I'm gonna take my time and enjoy these two and the rest of the crew for a while.

That’s great! While I have more Carpets than anything, I’m in the same camp as Gio. I can’t decide which I love the most, Carpets or Boas. Do yourself a favor and consider a Boa, they are special as well.

Butch, Common/Wild Type, though I suspect some Nicaragua. He’s maxed out at 5.5- 6 ft.

I haven't ruled out a boa. I've taken Katie "window shopping" and she's seen a few at expos. She's not a fan for some reason. At this point, she really doesn't care what I add as long as it's not a giant. It's not like she'd say "no". But since she's so good about me keeping snakes I tend to try to appease her too. She does like some of the dreamsicle type stuff though....
