    Is this normal

Help! I dont know how to post a picture otherwise I would but I have an adult BP and I fed her a small rat today and she ate fine like normal but I noticed shortly after she ate the left half of her neck was sunken in for about 3 inches down from her jaw then it pops back to normal after 3 inches. I've never seen this before. She isnt acting like she is in any kind of distress just looks very weird. I normally dont watch her once she has the rat half way down and i just peek in on her after she has eaten to make sure she is doing ok and i have never seen this happen before. I have a picture but i apparently dont have the ability to post attachments on here yet since I just joined.

I'm trying to envision what you are talking about. Is her neck just taking a minute to shrink back to normal size?

It won't let me post a picture but the best way I can subscribe it is when the snakes lower belly is hollow from starving... it looks like one half of her neck is sucked in like that for the first 3 inches of her body but only the left side not the right side

This. It was lyk that for at least an hr. I think it may have went back to normal but she is in her hide now so I don't want to bother her. I've just never seen this

I've seen snakes do a lot of things, but never that... You described it pretty well, it's what I was picturing. If that was my snake, I'd massage her neck just a bit, & I
expect it will go back to normal. I guess she really sucked down that rat, lol...is her name "Hoover"? I'd avoid disrupting her a lot (don't pick her up or take her out
of her enclosure) but I wouldn't be able to sleep without checking further.

Seriously, is her tongue flicking normally? or not flicking at all? or are her tongue tips sticking together when she's flicking? See if she'll take a drink of water.

    Re: Is this normal

Yes she is acting completely normal she drank a ton of water. She always does after eating and her tongue was flicking like normal and she explored/basked for a bit. Begged for more then went into her hide. She keeps peeking out once in a while but hasn't put her head up yet so I can see. At first I thought she was choking because it looked sucked tight but she is breathing fine so idk. I think bbn it's normal now but I've never seen this
