Remember that offering food too often frequently adds to the stress a snake apparently feels, & makes them less likely to eat. Think positive for now, but be very observant.

If you have good hearing, try just listening to his breathing from as close as you can* to see if you pick up any clicking-squeaking. (*When I'm holding a snake, I hold them with my ear to their head/neck, but when a snake is moving in their cage you can often hear suspect sounds in a quiet room, & certainly watch for bubbles.)
Alright, I'll wait a few days before feeding him. I handled him the past few days, and he was absolutely fine. I specifically listened to wheezing and clicking, because I already dealt with a minor RI before. Hopefully this is just a few bad events that make a situation look worse than it is.

one of my girls did this and she is still going strong. it was more of a bubble beard than a foamy mouth, i originally thought she was just messing around in her water, but it could have been a fart. this happened months ago and i still don't see any negative effects. in my opinion, i would say you're okay just so long as theres no RI signs. it sounds like your worried and scrutinizing the regular bp troubles ( like refusing food once or twce ) a little too hard.

Good news! I decided to feed him tonight, and he took it no problem. Hopefully this is a good sign that he is alright.

Great! It's better to be "over-concerned" than oblivious...he's probably fine, but you always want to watch & listen for health issues- it's just part of being a good
