    Some pictures of my bci

Just some random pics of him chilling today. Odd that he ate lastnight and under 24 hours later he's crusing around again. Must have digested fast.

Naw, they stay foody/hunting for a day after eating. Where there's one rat there might be another. He should settle down to digesting soon.

Beautiful boa! I'm happy to see you have stuff for him to climb, it looks like he's enjoying it

Yes my BP also stays in food mode for 24-48 hours after eating. I think it's partially because there are some lingering rat juices/smells in the enclosure which makes him hope another might be nearby.

Not really sure what morph he is, but will he stay this light color as an adult?

My boas can stay in food mode for a day or two, easy.

Do not be tempted to feed again too soon. Boas could eat every day, but it would be terrible for them. They have a slow metabolism (even compared to other snakes) and have a tendency to get too heavy and have health issues.

Less is more when it comes to food for them.

If you have questions on a feeding regiment for them, just ask. There are different opinions, but mostly about whether to feed an appropriate meal infrequently or more infrequently compared to most other snakes.

Boas lose the 'baby grays' and gain yellow as they age, the yellow coloration is what turns then more tan/brown. So most likely the background color will darken a little or get a richer deeper tan color. All boas go through this change, the best indicator is to see what the parents look like but again, that just gives you an idea and not a guarantee. Beautiful baby, congrats on the new addition!
