Sometimes when a snake sheds, their old shed-skin is a little dryer & hangs on tighter, & that causes minor bleeding to their sensitive vent area. Nothing to worry about,
but for paying attention & asking.
And btw, your little king is looking beautiful!

Thank you! I really love having her
I'm glad to learn something new and that this isn't a cause for concern

Re: Blood (?) on vent after shed
What Bogertophis and Craig said.
Looks pretty normal for some snakes.
Some snakes (not sure on species on individual animals) are more susceptible than other to it. My BP often has that, but I have yet to see that on any of my Boas or my corns (I think - on the corns, maybe once).
It might help to up humidity a little more in shed, but that doesn't seem to help the BP as she has a perfect shed, but still some irritation sometimes.
