Forest Floor bedding?

Good morning. Lastweek I purchased a bag of the forest floor bedding from zoomed. I'm using a RHP for heat. I read it's good for humidity in the cold dry northeast for my young boa.
Is this stuff safe for boas? For some reason I was reading today that it has a high chance of swallowing during feeding? Also heard it dries out real fast, which I can see after one week under the RHP, but I do alot of misting daily to wet it again.
What are the experiences on this board? I really like the way this looks in my setup, very natural. I was thinking of eco earth or some other coco bedding but i hear of other horror stories with that stuff.

I preferred Forest Floor to Eco Earth, because the Forest Floor was less powdery so much less prone to get into my snakes' mouths or heat pits.

I didn't really experience it as having a higher chance for being swallowed than any other substrate, but I tend to offer meals on ceramic tiles to prevent substrate swallowing in general - I may be overly cautious about that. Forest Floor was very nice for maintaining humidity without getting too wet. I only stopped using it and switched to ReptiChip because of personal concerns over the environmental impact of harvesting cypress trees.

ReptiChip has worked out very well so far, but I think that either is a good substrate.

I use forest floor. for me, with a RHP, its the absolute best. keeo the humidity very good.
Boa can digest a tiny piece of wood once in a while absolutely without any problem.
