Thanks! Between him and Adelita there'll be more of those in the future.

I'm honestly surprised at the relative lack of boa stuff online, outside of Facebook groups (which I tend to avoid). The lack of a boa-specific podcast is particularly surprising. It sounds like the one Vin Russo had a while back has been discontinued; there's only a few isolated episodes floating around, and not all of those play. Other podcasts have only had a few isolated boa episodes. I really wish there was more content on that front -- particularly now, given that a bunch of us will be working from home for the foreseeable future.

Check out Brian Boas on YouTube.

Boas and Carpets are my favorite animals these days.

Yeah, his channel is pretty awesome. I gave it a look after Rich mentioned him and ended up watching almost half of his videos in one sitting.

All the MPR I've been listening to has given me a bit of a Morelia bug on top of that. While I'm planning on focusing on boas if I expand in the future... well, let's just say I wouldn't be surprised to find a Papuan carpet hanging around here.

Yeah, he's got some nice ones. The Honduran fire belly is the one that really catches my eye. It sounds like there just aren't that many of them stateside.

Managed to somewhat catch Kuzco's blue head today. When he's in partial shade, his head is truly slate blue. I'm having a hard time picking it up on camera, but this captures it somewhat:

Great photo, it's so hard to capture the iridescence and certain colours especially on longicauda, they really are stunning and will only get better with age,.mine looked so normal looking when younger, so pleased with how they have aged.
Really look forward to watching the progression

    Re: Denton line longicauda progression

Kuzco is settling in well here. There are still a few days were he's hissy coming out of his viv, but they're less frequent and he's becoming much more settled while he's out. He's recently made a few appearances at virtual happy hours, including one by popular request! Even my non-snakey friends seem to appreciate a good longicauda. I hope he can continue to be a good ambassador for his subspecies.
