    If you use a Hefty 34-qt with the latching lid, that would not only work until your AP cage arrives, but you could also use it as a transport tub or for temporarily holding your girl as an adult should you need to do a complete enclosure clean-out for some reason. I personally prefer the Hefty tubs over the Sterilite if I'm using it to contain or house a single snake versus putting the tub into a rack, as the Hefty lids are more rigid, which will reduce the chance of an escape.

    Thank you! I will look into the Hefty tub. When I use Sterilite I use the 'gasket box' type, which has multiple latches on the lid, so I feel secure in terms of preventing escapes.
