    Cold Blooded Cafe

Anybody use Cold Blooded Cafe for their f/t feeders? How do they compare to Big Cheese or Perfect Prey? I'm thinking of giving them a try.

I’ve used them a 2-3 times. Good prices, quick shipping, clean feeders. They don’t vacuum seal the bags but you could use a food saver and seal yourself if they’re going to be stored for an exceptionally long period. I’d recommend them easily

Ziggggg. What’s good man. Hope all is well

i actually switched over from PP as I was tired of them always having shortages or selling out of sizes I need. Plus their shipping was always high.

CBC always has stock and they have a flat shipping. Their stuff is clean and packed well and I’ve been very happy and haven’t looked back.

    Re: Cold Blooded Cafe

I'm sort of biased on this as I have only ever used CBC but I'm very pleased with their product. Rodents are very clean, well packed, and the size that they say they are. I would definitely recommend them.

I have used CBC 3 times. I buy the maximum quantity that will fit in the shipping box. Though they are cheaper on shipping and a bit less on product, I prefer Big Cheese and Perfect Prey when they have my sizes on hand. I have also experienced better sizing with BC and PP.

With CBC, sizing is all over the map. One pack of Larges will be perfect, then another one will be half full with mediums. Then a pack of mediums may have a large or two and 4-5 smalls mixed in as well. . Though I have snakes that will eat the misplaced sizes, it throws off my planning for my next shipment.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

I've used Big Cheese once, and CBC once, both for small rats.

Big Cheese's small rats were probably more consistently the same size- My CBC small rats definitely range from the smaller side of small to the larger end. If you have multiple snakes who might need slightly different sizes, it's actually quite helpful. I think Big Cheese's shipping was a bit faster, but my CBC rodents still arrived very frozen, and were packaged very well. They aren't vacuum sealed, but if you want to sort them out by size and vacuum seal them yourself, that's not a big deal.

Even with the variation in sizes, I've been more impressed with the quality of the rodents from my CBC order. My Big Cheese rodents were a little dirtier than I cared for. My CBC rodents are not only quite a bit cleaner, but also plumper, even if they are a little smaller. Horatio is a big fan!
