Lump on snake
I had my boa out tonight for some exercise and I noticed a small lump on him.
Its slightly smaller than a pea and its about 5 inches below his head
He is 6.5 feet long and almost 7 years old. Current weight is about 2000grams
He eats great, sheds in one piece always. No issues at all
Should I take him to the vet or just watch to see if the lump changes in the coming months.
Thanks

Re: Lump on snake
If it's a new growth I'd take the snake to the vet.

Re: Lump on snake
I agree. New growth = vet.
Here's a picture of me with a friends 10 year old Kahl Albino BI girl. She has a big cyst on the top of her neck and it's been checked and is benign. So it's not necessarily something to freak out about. However, you never know and peace of mind is worth a lot.

Re: Lump on snake
This lump isn't on the surface. It's from the inside. Almost like if a rib was misaligned and you would see the bump.
I've tried to take a pic but couldn't get a good one.
