    Way too small. Imo enclosures should be large enough for the snake to stretch out fully as a bare minimum.

    General rule of thumb is length plus width of the enclosure is greater than or equal to the length of the snake. So a 4x2 enclosure works for a snake up to 6. This varies by species but works nicely with ball pythons. Although to directly answer the question, yes that enclosure is WAY too small.
