    Herpstat 2 malfunctions?

Have the new version and the small older one. The post 1 side doesn't work on both models ( no temp indication; stays at 75 degrees. Have a second herpstat 2 (new version) where both sides work perfectly. All 3 units plugged into the same outlets. Why does the new and older version both have malfunctioning sides (side one only)? The new version herpstat 2 are relatively new.

Sounds weird. You definitely should email spyderrobotics. They will respond. I use multiple herpstats without any issues.

    0.1 Green Tree Python (Aru)
    0.1 Pueblan Milk Snake
    1.0 Mexican Black Kingsnake

I run several Herpstat 2’s and never a problem. It sounds to me like if it is staying at 75 then the Probe is not being read to activate it. Have you gone through the Menu to make sure your power percents are turned up etc and On?
Where they working and stopped all the sudden? Any more info to help me understand?

I have two Herpstat 2 thermostats and have no issue with either one (save for the time my older one went into system failure due to a power surge - resetting the device fixed the issue and per SpyderRobotics it was still safe to use if it reset appropriately). It should not be having an issue with the probe or power port on either side. That is really unusual.

Did you purchase them from SpyderRobotics or a third party seller? I'd contact SpyderRobotics customer service either way. They are top notch and respond quickly.

I have found 3 things that can affect or interfere with my herpstat 4. One of the probes not 100% plugged I . Too close to power cables causes problems. Grounding out can cause errors also (static electricity has shut it down)?

Mine would blank screen once in a while. I moved the cables away from my RHP power cord and it has not happened again.
