    Wine cooler incubator

I have a question, my incubator is 20.5 inches wide and 3ft tall.
would 12 inch heat tape lined down the back be enough to heat it?

That would be fine. That is what I did and I have had no issues since I built it 4 or 5 years ago.

I just have the thermostat resting on the middle shelf and then I have a thermometer with a probe placed on the top shelf and the probe for the thermometer on the bottom just to make certain there isn't any difference in the temps from the top to the bottom.
