    How common is shipping mishaps.

Hello, shipping makes me nervous in general, I’m wondering how common mishaps are with fedex shipping, i recently had a bad experience with it but want to be sure it was a fluke sort of thing and not a common experience. I don’t want any harm to come to the animals simply because I’m too far away to drive to get them.

Everything was fine for me for years than in a period of 2 years 6 delays.

If you buy from someone that knows how to ship there is nothing to worry about even with a 24 hours delay.

They're rather uncommon but they do happen. Case in point - a boa shipped to me from Maine in July ended up a truck instead of an airplane. He survived but it was a two day trip. The seller did a stellar packing job.

I've had a half dozen reptiles shipped with no issues. But I only bought from sellers who were experienced with shipping safely, and had a live arrival guarantee. Someone who will tell you they only ship when weather conditions are X and won't ship late in the week or around holidays are good signs.
