Why did the snake cross the road?

("The Far Side" by Gary Larson for all of you young'uns- )

“The big fellah’s gonna be A-OK, Mrs. Sanderson. Now a
square knot would’ve been bad news, but this just appears to be a ‘granny.’”

(Mrs. Sanderson originally went by another name, but I changed the name to keep the psychotic censor happy,
even though her name was that of a famous zoo & begins with a D. )

I've loved Larson's cartoons for a very long time...I'm thrilled to see him getting more exposure online now. His cartoons are not just about snakes, but about the strange
behaviors of various animals & humans too...but I'm very partial to the many with snakes in them. Glad you enjoyed these, it's just a "tip of the iceberg".
