Help needed! Just found out we can't move our BP internationally

My wife and I are moving from the US to the Netherlands in a couple weeks and just found out that out 9 year old BP may not me able to come with us. We thought we had everything lined up and were told by a few different officials that we had everything in line and are kind of freaking out to hear that she can't come with us.

Does anyone have experience moving from the US to Europe, or shipping internationally? As a last resort, does anyone have recommendations on how we could rehome her on such short notice?

We really do not want to leave her behind, but any advice would be super helpful. Felling really lost at this point, thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I think the best way to proceed would to be contacting a large breeder with previous experience of shipping internationally.

There does need to be an exiting cites permits from both countries as far as I know - I do not have any experience of it or the costs involved sadly.
