Yes...& I call the article "bunk"! For one thing, they never consider that anyone might have been living with lots of friendly snakes for decades, so snakes are
as normal as any other friends & family that pop up in your dreams. Nothing but psycho-babble...but thanks for sharing!

Mine are more like stress dreams, where people give me snakes and I'm in no way prepared and panicking ensues. My ball python was in a zombie apocalypse dream once, which was a bit different.

Which is nothing like the imagery suggested in the article lol. I don't think I ever dreamed about snakes until I owned one.

When I have dreams about snakes I'm pretty sure that it's just because I've been thinking about them a lot lol. I sometimes dream about my BP or snakes that I have thought about getting in the future, like a pied BP, a corn snake, and a dwarf boa.

Like Starscream, I've also had a dream where I was given more pet snakes than I could handle and started stressing about it, but I have never had a single "bad" dream about snakes in the sense that I was afraid of them or felt they were trying to harm me. I also never dreamed about snakes before I started researching them in detail and keeping a BP, so I'm pretty sure it's just my brain playing with leftover memories from the day when I sleep Dream symbolism is fun to speculate about though!

I don't have bad dreams about snakes as far as me being afraid of them...the only bad dreams are about the abuse that others do to them, so I'm careful about what
I read or see, especially before sleeping, but it doesn't take much. It's hard to screen out as much cultural hatred for snakes as currently exists.
