What is at play here?

I have been asked to ID this hatchling. The pairing I am told is Normal Pied x Banana Pied. The Pied Hatchling for me is showing something else at play. What do you think it could be?, I am thinking along the lines of maybe Leopard or Clown perhaps. Opinions invited. First 2 pics are of the parents.

Definitely not clown. Possibly enchi, but most likely just a low white pied.

I agree, nothing even close to looking clown. Enchi could be a possibility because the banana parent also looks like that could be a possibility but I do not have much experience with pied so the way it distorts the pattern makes it difficult for me. I will say the baby has a unusual pattern for just a pied, it looks very nice imo.
