    Re: Luna the Bamboo BP

Some shots of Luna I got this week. I am loving the new cage and from the looks of it so is she. Sleeps all day, then pretty much as soon as lights out, she's out cruisin'. She's always in a different, interesting position when I enter the room lol.

I got a weight on Luna yesterday while cleaning her cage. 498g! Nearly four times what she weighed when I brought her home!

Woah, getting huge! Great looking setup. Where'd you get all the accessories?

Well the water bowl is just an exo terra xl. The vines are plastic and from the dollar store. The live potted pothos in there were propagated from two parent plants I have had for quite a while. The grapevine I got from a vineyard that sells on etsy, however I've since had to remove it and repurpose for my bioactive enclosure due to some mold growth, she has a new piece of heat treated driftwood on the way. The cork tube came from Pangea, I bought in bulk from them for my bioactive build, and have a few pieces left over. Her hides are Reptile Basics.

She's getting big but she's all muscle! She still seems pretty small to me lol i can't wait til she hits 1000g+. If the size of her parents is any indicator, she's gonna be a BIG girl lol

I love it when they are introduced to a new home and explore some. I tend to let them find a little food surprise laying around also. Hide..... Food..... Water.... check check check...……. Then they settle down to digest. Love it.

    Re: Luna the Bamboo BP

Okay rearranged the enclosure. Had to get a new piece of wood. Didn't take any chances with this one. Soaked in vinegar/water to kill off any possible mold spores, then heat treated in the oven for good measure. Moved her water bowl farther away from the RHP because humidity was on the high side. Humidity dropping much faster now. Sitting about 75% on cool end and 70% on warm end and dropping steadily. Much better than mid 80's!
