New to breeding... are these the correct signs?

    1. My female has been off weed for a while now, looks a little fatter but only when coiled up.

    2. She pooped the weirdest poop ive ever seen her poop after her shed. It was wet/solid and maybe a little white/green?

    3. Now She's wrapped around the water dish the last two days...

if this is correct when should I expect eggs? my incubator isn't ready yet, do I have a little time or do I need to move my butt?

There is a lot more to it than coiling a water bowl, increased body mass, and going off weed--those signs are of no consequence.

    Of more relevance would be:
Palpating for follicles--What size are they at?
    Heat Seeking Vs. Cold Seeking
Ovulation: When? Eggs are laid at ~30 days from post OV shed

I personally don't have time to track everything myself. I know from experience when to start expecting eggs each year and I will heat up one of my smaller incubators a week or two in advance.

You have some time, sounds like she's just building. I still have a hard time judging what stage my girls are at because they do all kinds of crazy things while they are building that are all good signs. I know to start expecting eggs soon once they no longer go on the cool side and basically just lay in a perfect coil on the heat and don't move, it's usually just a few weeks after that. Then when they are within a few days you can catch them in odd positions folding their body to adjust the eggs, if you see that, you better have an incubator ready lol.

checked on her today and she's back on the warm side in a flat coil, like she's not stacked up on herself. ill start prepping today just in case.
