    Setup Questions

Hi, I'm new to the site and to being a BP owner (about 4 months), I've done some research and tried to put together the best enclosure for my BP and was hoping for some feedback.

    Here is the tank:

Do you have hides? Should have identical hides, one on each end. What are your temps? And because I’m curious, what’s the sign say in the lower right corner? Lol

The stick on dial thermometers and hydrometers are typically not accurate enough for anyone's liking. A digital one in its place would definitely be a good idea. I do see a digital hydrometer/thermometer in the corner though so that is great!

I second this. Unless I'm blind I'm not seeing any form of hides? I also presume that 91* is your hot side? Do you have an IR thermometer gun to spot check your temps? If you don't, I highly recommend getting one.

Overall though it is a very gorgeous setup! Nice job!

EDIT: Ohh I think I see a hide on the far left... And then is your noodle popping out of the other hide? Are they identical?

Yes, I have hides, but, no they're not identical. Temps stay from 85-95 and shift slightly throughout the day. As for the sign, it's a checklist I recently made to keep track of his feeding and shedding. (PS: His name is David)

EDIT: 85 on the left and 95 on the right.

Yeah, there are hides on both sides, I use the probes to make sure his heat mat doesn't go haywire and keep track of the humidity, the stick-on is meant to measure the ambient heat, and as for the heat gun, it was one of the first things I got.

Temps of 85-95*F are a bit high. I would drop them to 80-90*F.
