    heat pack during car ride?

hi everyone, i will be going back home for christmas soon and will be taking my bp in the car with me (i’m bringing him because i will be home for about three weeks) and i was wondering if i should put a heat pack in with him during the journey? i will be putting him in the box he was shipped in which has insulation and a small bag for me to put him in. it will be about a five hour car ride so i was just wondering if i should get a heat pack or will keeping my cars heat up in the high 70s be okay for the ride? thank you for any help.
