    Brooks Kingsnake care sheet?

Hi all! I just ordered a hatchling albino jelly brooks from BHB, and while I have a good idea of their care, I keep seeing conflicting info regarding temps and uvb lighting.

Im specifically wondering if a heat pad under one side of the tub, set at (86°?, higher or lower?) with the daytime ambient being 74-80, and night time dropping to about 72-74 is warm enough or will push him into brumation.
Should I use a CHE to raise the ambient temp, or use a bulb during the day to make a basking spot, as Ive also seen an article that mentions uvb for kings.

I appreciate all the help. I want to make sure my little guy is set up for a happy, healthy future.

Care is basically identical to a corn snake so you can check out some of those care sheets. I'd personally aim for a bit higher night ambient temps, especially for the few days following a feed. While not entirely necessary, you can't really go wrong offering more natural options(predators and parasites aside) so I'd say go for the UVB. Younger florida kings will be more arboreal than their adult counterparts so feel free to offer some vertical climbing and cover options. Many will burrow a fair bit too so a few inches of shredded aspen or similar bedding that holds form for tunneling wouldn't be remiss either.
