Strange Scales?
Hi, I'm new to this forum, so idk if this is the right place to post this question, but I noticed some scales on her head. They may have been from a previous shed? I only got her a few weeks ago, and she hasn't shed with me yet, so I don't really know. Haha, hope y'all can help.

Re: Strange Scales?
Looks like the very top layer of the new scales came off with the last shed.
It's not a major problem and, once you get the humidity dialed in, should resolve itself with the next shed.

If you're talking about the scattered (solo) scales that seem to have a different texture to them, keep an eye on whether they increase or disappear with future sheds.
It's not unusual for snakes such as BP's (kept in warm humid enclosures with less air flow) to get a fungal infection of their skin, which can be treated pretty easily with a
topical product, & it's not a serious concern IF this is the situation with your snake...again, just something I'd keep an eye on, & consider treating if it spreads. It may not.
And by the way,
