Identifying Bumble Belly's. What do I look for?

So I just got this bumble belly and wonder what makes this a yellowbelly? I'm just starting out and plan to breed her when she's big enough, so I'm trying to understand what visual clues to look for in IDing YB especially when mixed with other morphs. What about her shows she has yellowbelly? I'd really appreciate any help.

From my experience, bumblebees are not a great example to learn how to ID YB. I purchased a bumblebelly as it was labeled, I thought it had YB and other experienced breeders also agreed it had YB. I grew her out and bred her, turned out no YB. My point is bumblebellies can look like bumblebees and bumblebees can look like bumblebellies. You can breed her to find out but I doubt anyone here can tell you with any certainty if she has YB. You will have a much easier time learning how to ID YB with many other combos that have the obvious traits of YB.

But to give you my opinion, she does look like she could be YB based on the checkering on the sides of her belly. Unfortunately that's not a definite indication because mine had that as well.

Good luck with your future projects.

Just for reference here is an example of bumblebellies/bumblebees asphalt, they look the same. But these are 100% one or the other because they came from a freeway.

Sorry, I don't have better pictures yet but I'll try to get some belly shots for you tonight.

Also with yb you should see flames in the patterning of the side or lateral scales. Hard to appreciate in the bumblebelly due to coloration and striping. But yes, the checkering in the belly scales is something that we look for in yb. Yb also brightens coloration.
