    They dont give off any heat, and they're installed with screw brackets.

    been looking at these. do you HAVE to get the VE power supply? also thanks for noting the triangle shape as i wouldve never noticed. im planning on using them just to grow some grasses/weeds (not the devils lettuce) in my enclosure

    Yea, it has a circle plug that connects the light to the power supply. I don't think it's proprietary or anything, so maybe you can find another option. Yea, I didn't realize it was triangular either, I was pleasantly surprised.

    Thanks. Yours looks great too. Personally though, I think there's something to be said about simpler, sterile enclosures. I have reservations about even putting my scrub in it because she's so hard to handle.
