    Inching Closer To BC.

I just received my new copy of THE MORE COMPLETE BOA CONSTRICTOR by Vincent Russo.

My first addition singled out boas from Barranquilla, Colombia as what a natural cross of BI and BC would look like.

The new addition moves even closer to calling this species BC, but not fully.

I feel I have the best of both worlds with this, Rio Bravo, Barranquilla, Colombian boa. Gus Rentfro Produced a winner here for sure when he bred these boas.

This is the only pure, locality snake I own.

Sniper does me proud and I really like the new book as it helps me, and others pin down the background of their animals.

All of you Pokigron, Suri owners should definitely read the new book!

Love that critter, Gio! I’ve been skimming the new book frequently but haven’t really sat down to give it a fresh read yet. Might do that this evening when I get home from the studio

    JM,
Might as well go right to the Poki section and the BCO section.

Richard, you have a lot of the island boas and have a unique collection.

Its nice to see Vin covers it all, and even the non-locality folks get a fair shake with the morph section.

I really enjoy ("The Complete" ---- ) series no matter what species being written about.

Lol that’s exactly the two sections I went to as soon as I turned the cover of the book! Definitely a bit more info on both of them than in the first book

    Sniper's looking good, Gio!

Yeah, Vin's new book's awesome. I feel very lucky that the new edition came out when I was just getting started. Now to wait and see when the next edition of The Complete Carpet Python comes out -- I read on Nick's site that it may come out some time next year. Gotta read up on those Inlands before I decide to take the plunge...

I feel you on the reclassification front, Richard. It looks like my girl is Boa sigma now.
0.1 Sonoran Boa sigma: "Adelita" ('19 Hypo het. leopard)
1.0 Boa imperator longicauda: "Kuzco" ('19 het. anery)
0.1 West Papuan Morelia spilota: "Pandora" ('20)
