    Breeding window?

Is there a sort of "window of opportunity" for females that are building follicles? I suspect a female that I paired 2 years ago (she went on to lay a clutch) is building again now but I would prefer to wait to pair her for a month or so.

I just can't shake this feeling that now is the time, even though when I paired her 2 years ago she laid in May. I would be disappointed if she resorbed just because I was holding off.

There is once a female starts building and the follicles are between the size of a dime to a quarter she is at an optimal time for breeding.
