Didn't read much of it 'cause it wants my email to continue... Tried more than once.

But anyway, it sounds a bit like what sidewinders do on the ground? They sorta fling a coil forward to "hop" over hot sand.

Hmmm, I don't see that.... I'm running Firefox with Ad Block Plus and Ghostery

Here's one of the videos they show..... It's jumping from tree branch to tree branch

Doesn't say "continue reading" anywhere, only "sign up to continue reading".

They really take a "leap of faith" don't they? I know the so-called "flying snakes" are flattening their ribs some to catch more air, but still, it's quite a fall. Amazing!

I had the same problem as Bogey, I didn’t read it either.

I almost bought a Paradise flying snake about a year ago. They are a bright colored, cool looking snake.

I decided against it because they only eat lizards which I found hard to come by on a regular basis.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Very cool article. Thanks for sharing.

I've been watching Steve Irwin all afternoon and he actually just found one of the "flying" species on one of the episodes. Super cool!

What a stunning-looking snake! But I'd be afraid to take it on for the same reason...too bad, though my tri-color TX longnose* snake has the same amazing color scheme, just a ground-dweller though, no "flying". (*also a "lizard-eater", but mine has been raised on fuzzy mice & has done well for many years already for me, so you never know?)
