    Lavender ball python

The other day my nine-year-old said that she saw a bone coming out of our snakes rear end. My wife went to look later that day and it was not there nor in the tank and the snake was normal. Today my daughter said she saw it again and when my wife went to look it was not there but that her butt area was harder than normal. When I bought the snake they told me it was a female and that she was just shy of one-year-old A month ago. Does anyone know what this is, and if so what should I do?

I suspect it was a urate = those can be hard and white.

They are generally kind of mushy inside the snake though - does the snake show any signs of de-hydration?

Here's a picture of urates to give you an idea.

Thank you. I think what she saw was smaller than that. I was gonna post a picture on here but I can’t figure out how.
