    thoughts on genes?

getting back into the hobby after almost 15 years. never really got into breeding but may down the road. i acquired these two beauties but had some questions i wanted run by the fine people on here that have been doing this awhile.
the first snake came to me as a purple passion. the person said it was a phantom x mystic. is mystic and mojave the same thing? he has colored up a little since i took the pic...the yellow stripe on the back is more defined. im questioning the blue eyes...all the pics ive seen of purple passion have black eyes. thoughts?

No all purple passions have blue eyes. I have one myself

Without pics it’s hard to say, a purple passion is similar to a mystic potion looks wise but when they are younger the purple passions tend to have a very bright yellow dorsal stripe where the mystic potion doesn’t, it’s lighter looking and has more of a whitish color.

Second snake is not remotely close to a Pastel Calico Enchi or a Super Pastel Calico Enchi, either misidentified on purpose or out of ignorance hence why it is important to buy from a reputable breeder.

Nowadays considering how many combos there are and how many looks alike or are subtle unless you know the pairing it's just gonna be a guessing game, there is Spider in it and some other genes.
