    MacGuyver’s Quarantine Tub

When you live in a small 2 bedroom apt, and you need to set up quarantine away from the snake room you get creative.

My snake room (luckily) stays a few degrees warmer than the rest of the apt, which is nice for the established critters. But keeping ambient temps in a 12qt tub dialed without heating my entire bedroom to 78-80° is a bit trickier.
My bedroom currently stays around 72° give or take so used a CHE hung from a shelving bracket about 8-9" above the tub to boost ambient temp. UTH taking care of hot spot. Both controlled with herpstat 2.
Temps are dialed at 78-80° cool side, 88-90° hot spot, and about 82° in between.
Now to leave y’all in suspense as to what will inhabit said quarantine tub starting Thursday...

Nice QT setup. I love the anticipation of waiting for a new snake. I've got an idea but not quite sure. You could play this a number of ways. Looking forward to the unboxing.

    OH YEAH!

Game on. I work afternoons through Friday so I'll check in in the mornings and on my phone when I have time.

    You've got to be stoked!
