News story on boas vs pythons

Saw this earlier and thought I'd share it, think they need to do some more research

Apparently boas grow 3ft in a year, I wish, some serious overfeeding would have to happen

It reads like an eight year old writing a book report wrote it

Yeah it is written very poorly. It’s so bad it made me wonder if maybe it was translated to English or something.

My boa is a year and a half and over 3’. I do not over feed him and I’m not sure when he exactly hit 3’. If they put a range in there instead of a defined one year I think it would’ve been fine. That being said, there is still a lot wrong with this article.

Looks like there's no pythons in Australia too

I liked the comment about how they're not dangerous. When there are documented cases that Retics and Anacondas DO view humans as a food source in the wild.

Or the one where boas are far more active than pythons. Ummm... again, ever met a Retic?

It's like maybe they've really only interacted with Ball Pythons and Boa Imperators and are basing all experiences on this.

The article says that if not used to people, the boa would be more defensive than a python...

What do you think Ziggy, your Boa is more defensive than your Scrub?
