Jake (normal ball python) progression thread

Thought I would start a progression thread on my ball Jake. I got him about 1 month ago and he is doing great. He has already shed once and he eats great. The first time I weighed him he was 123g and today he is up to 158g. He hasn't pooped since his last meal yet so maybe a little less than that. He is approximately 22in long. I haven't taken too many pics yet cause I have mostly been letting him settle in.

I had Jake out for a while this evening. Got a couple quick snaps of him. Some day soon I hope to get some better pics of him with my good camera.

Had Jake out for photo shoot today. I got a couple of decent ones. Love that little face.

Jake is so very cute, I love that little face too. I have a parrot named Jacob which was named after a Jake.

I'm pretty sure that's where he got the name.

I weighed him again today. He finally pooped yesterday, in his hide, seems to be his favorite place to poop. At least it's easy to clean up, since I can just pick up the whole hide and dump it out. His weight is 140g now. Feeding day tomorrow.

Fed him this evening. I don't know if he is just an unusual bp or what but he is voracious when it comes to his food. He was ready and came flying out of his hide. I'm so glad he is such a great eater.
