Scale missing a piece should I be concerned?

So I was looking at my blood and I noticed this scale. I dont think it's the start of scale rot as there is no discoloration. I just wasnt 100 percent sure I should not worry. I wanted to ask here and get some other opinions.

Tldr is should i worry about this scale missing a piece?

Nope, I wouldn't worry. It's the equivalent of you breaking a fingernail or getting a minor cut..."life happens" & only IF it looked infected (pink, inflamed, oozing)
would I put an antiseptic (like Betadine, Vetericyn) on it. It does NOT appear to be very recent...it's a "done deal".

It's nothing and over the years your BP will break and or loose scales and have little imperfections here and there.
