Boa Feeding
Can I feed a 6 month old boa every other week? I would like to have my snakes on the same feeding schedule. I also would like to slow grow my boa, but I dont want to feed it every other week if it will hurt it. The boa is a male.

Hard to say without seeing your snake (as far as his weight goes) but it shouldn't hurt anything...snakes in captivity eat far more often than they generally do in the
wild. A 6 month old boa is pretty far along anyway, but you might slightly size up his prey, especially if you find he gets cranky towards the end of the gap between
meals (indicating he's hungry).

Pretty snake, but hard to tell much from those angles, lol.

Re: Boa Feeding
Nice looking boa. You sure can feed him biweekly. I pretty much feed all my snakes every 2 weeks at this point. They eat a little less frequently in the winter.

Thanks. I will go with feeding them both every other week then.
