Ball python might have come in contact with respiratory infection

My daughter's friend and her were at a meeting with their ball pythons. My daughter's snake went over to her friend's shoulder and was in contact with her snake for about 15-20 minutes.
Later the girls saw that the friend's snake had drooled, and there was an nostril bubble. They both listened intently at different times, but couldn't hear any problems with the snake's breathing. They opened up the snake's mouth and it looked normal. No more drooling after that.
The friend is upping her snake's temps a bit and keeping a close eye on her snake.
My question is, how concerned should I be about my daughter's snake having had that contact if the other snake ends up having a respiratory infection? Thank you for reading through this, and any answers.

It could've just been drinking and had water leftover in its mouth.

Edit: actually, I should ask: did it have access to water to drink during this meeting?

I agree with wnateg...wouldn't panic, just keep an eye on it. And just like human colds, not everyone catches what they come in contact with.

He hadn't had access to water for a few hours, but had just been sleeping in his carrier till she pulled him out and kind if pointed him downwards for a kid to see him. Thanks so much for the response!

Thanks for the reassurance - my daughter just left for Spain for 10 days, and I'm supposed to keep an eye on her snake.
This ball python is quite large, and as I'm used to my kingsnakes, this snake ALWAYS seems to breathe weird to me. Probably doesn't help that he's a Mojave black pastel and has a bit of a duckbill.
