Re: What type of enclosures do you use?

right now i'm using the typical setup in a 20L tank for my lonely BP, fluffy. just recently built a rack to hold 4 32 qt sterilites, 8 15qts, or a combo of both. just waiting on my herpstat coming in the mail from the bean farm and i'll be on my way to going totally tub!
Then i can go ahead and get fluffy some friends

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?

We only have a few snakes and that's going to be it. We have all Exo-Terra's but they are expensive. The front swing doors are really an asset and with the flow through front vents I can block off the top screen. I had 1/4 inch acrylic tops cut to spec and put handles on them as trying to keep humidity levels up out here in the desert southwest is like trying to, well, fill in your own blank!

We just got into the set-ups and am still waiting for some digital probes to come in but when they are all done I'll post some pics if anyone is interested.

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?

I use glass aquariums mainly because I already had them and because I just think they look better on display. I currently have 3 different species: ball python, leopard gecko, and fire-bellied toads. I plan on keeping them in my future classroom as soon as I finish school at get a teaching job as a high school biology teacher so I want something that will look really nice for my students to observe the different behaviors of the species.

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?

I have 3 female balls pythons in RBI cages; these are the girls I'll be breeding next season. The rest of the balls are in tubs.
I have 3 RBI cages that my boas are in. When my boas outgrow the cages, they'll go into AP T20 cages and my next largest 3 ball females will go into the cages.
I would honestly like to get all of my ball pythons into cages at one point...
I have 13 balls pythons...3 in cages...3 more to go into cages...almost half way there!
