    snake hooks

So I have been looking at snake hooks, because Sangre is starting to outgrow the one I currently have. I am looking at these:

Should I get the Viper, Mamba, or Bushmaster hook? I need one that will last for about the next year (size wise). currently my Blood Python is about 34 inches, and 380 grams. I would like a hook that will last for about a year or so. The hook I currently have is this:

    Which hook should I get?

Mostly comes down to your comfort level & what you use it for: not really something we can answer, IMO.

Are you just tap-training or do you actually lift snakes with a hook? (you don't even need a hook for tap training...just a blunt stick)

Do you need one that telescopes for space? I don't think they're as sturdy, for snakes that weigh more, but full-size hooks don't fit into tight spots either.

Do you need a longer reach (for arboreal, large & feisty "eager eaters" or hots)?

Does it matter to you what the hook itself weighs? Some might prefer lightweight, but others need the most sturdy hooks.
Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength.
